Why your doctor doesn’t know about tight junctions
The skin barrier against allergens
You have read the book "Allergies - The Real Causes" and now know how the allergen is passing through the skin. You have read the chapter, and understand the basic principles of tight junctions, but you still have some questions which you may want to ask your doctor. Please do not be surprised if your doctor has not heard of the concept of tight junctions or protein gates!
Still no teaching at universities
At universities, skin and lung doctors are, indeed, trained in terms of diagnosis and treatment of allergies, but not in the concept of tight junctions. There are already more than 800 published medical resources relating to tight junctions and allergies, but the link between allergies and tight junctions is not yet in the medical school curriculum.
Scientists and body-Network
Body-network.com has been launched so that both allergic people and scientists can gain information here, on the domain. In the scientific area, we have indicated the current most important publications as resources for scientists. We will expand this area even further and provide published texts, with translations and summaries available. It is planned that these summaries will be written in such a way that even non-experts can understand these findings.
The portal of body-Network
We have also developed the body-network community. Here you can chat with other allergy sufferers and exchange experiences. Simply ask a question of the community and many of those who have similar experiences, and with understanding of the causes of allergies, will be able to help you.
